The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!

For this our heart is faint; for these [things] our eyes are dim.

For this our heart is faint; For these things our eyes are dim;

Because of this, our hearts are sick; because of these things, we can hardly see through our tears.

Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
19
Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.
20
Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, [and] forsake us so long time?
21
Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
22
But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I [was] among the captives by the river of Chebar, [that] the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
2
In the fifth [day] of the month, which [was] the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
4
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness [was] about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
5
Also out of the midst thereof [came] the likeness of four living creatures. And this [was] their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
